The JingleBook Blog Hop

Welcome to the Jingle Book Blog Hop–sponsored by Fire and Ice Book Promos!

Christmas is a time of giving, and that’s what this blog hop is all about! Each participating blog on this hop is offering a unique Christmas post and giveaway to share with our readers, so make sure to visit them all.

Our Favorite Part of Christmas

There are so many things we enjoy about this holiday. It doesn’t matter if your twelve or seventy, there’s just something magical about Christmas. Even at my age, I’m fascinated by the idea of Santa Clause and his elves busy at work in their snow-covered workshops, with said buildings all but bursting with Christmas decor and goodwill.

It’s really hard not to get in the holiday spirit this time of year, and there is so much to love about the holiday and everything it stands for. It’s a time to anticipate good food and good company. Gifts and sharing. Laughter and joy.

It’s also a time of peace and quietness. It’s a time when the world seems to be at rest, at least here in our nook of the woods. It’s about the only day of the year where the streets are all but empty of cars. The doors to businesses are locked and closed, as the world comes together with one common goal in mind… to enjoy the companionship of those closest to them and simply be.

All of these things are even better with a layer of snow on the ground, but it’s very rare we get any snow on Christmas here. However, I would have to say that the unity and peace are my favorites parts of Christmas.

Now it’s time to get started hopping! Visit each blog below to see their Christmas posts and giveaways. The bloggers and authors participating in the hop are offering all kinds of goodies!  Then come back tomorrow and do it again!

  2. WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT CHRISTMAS, SPENDING EXTRA TIME WITH MY MOTHER, WATCHING CHRISTMAS MOVIES AND CARTOONS, AND JUST BEING THANKFUL TO BE HERE

  3. I love being with the entire family and having a great meal and making up time and gossip. I love seeing my new great grandkids that have come along during the year. This year we got 2 new ones!!!

  4. I loved having my children home, both of them. Even though their not babies anymore it’s just not seeing the two together, being brother and sister. The laughing, picking with each other, and constantly asking if out Christmas dinner is ready so they can eat, especially my son . This year it will just be my husband and I for the first time in years. I’m not sure how I feel about that. I know I’m already sad and depressed from it. I’m having problems leaving comments because of WordPress so I used my my email I never check and my email to contact me for any reason is below my name in this comment. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone and good luck on this giveaway.

  6. There’s several things I love about Christmas time . Not in order but I love putting up all the Christmas decorations inside and out. Wrapping up presents and the giving of them. And wrapping presents for my fur baby and watching her tear all the paper off to get to the new toy. But I think the best out of them is seeing others faces when they open their presents. Basically I’m a big daft kid at heart when it comes to christmas.
Thanks for the chance on the giveaway, and Merry Christmas ladies.

  7. What I love most about Christmas is giving to those less fortunate, those that may just need a little help that year, those who are hospitalized, or to those who will be alone during the Holidays.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday Season!!

  8. My favorite thing about Christmas is being with family and watching the surprise and happiness when they see their gifts on Christmas.

  9. My favorite part about Christmas is seeing the wonder and surprise on my daughters’s faces. We keep Santa alive until each is 10. I have a 17yr old, a 13 yr old, and then there is the 7yr old and 3 yr old that still believe. All girls. We try to do many things during the week before Christmas they are out of school; bake, crafts, donating toys, lights, and more. I love seeing Christmas through their eyes.
    Thank you for the chance.

  10. my favorite thing about christmas is being with family having a great meal and christmas cookies i baked.i also love looking at everyones christmas lights

  11. I love spending time with my family and friends during the holidays. Especially watching the children and seeing the wonder and excitement in their faces. But most of all remembering the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Lord, Jesus.
